The Division of Real Estate protects the consumer through the licensing, regulation, and enforcement of licensed real estate professionals. We aspire to create a balance between consumer protection and promoting a fair and competitive business environment. For those of you living in a Common Interest Community, like an HOA, POA, Condominium, or Cooperative, navigating the complex laws affecting communities like the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (“CCIOA”) and the Colorado Nonprofit Corporation Act can be daunting.

DENVER, COLORADO-On February 19, 2025, the Colorado Real Estate Commission (the “Commission”), issued a Final Agency Order to revoke the license of Eugene L. Seitz III, License Number EA.100011732, along with other disciplinary action.

Sunset Review

The Colorado Office of Policy, Research and Regulatory Reform ("COPRRR") is currently conducting a sunset review of the Colorado Real Estate Commission and the duties of the Colorado Division of Real Estate in association with the regulation of real estate brokers and subdivision developers.
